Jayde Terry

My name is Jayde Terry, and I'm a Class of 2028 goalie from Mount Olive, New Jersey. I play for 2028 Black at DEWLAX and keep goal for Mount Olive High School. Lacrosse has been around me my whole life, since my mom played in college, but the cage became mine the first time I stepped into it in third grade and I haven't wanted to play anywhere else since.

Being a lefty changes the angles a shooter sees, and I've learned to use that. I take pride in getting the ball out fast, because a clean clear turns a save into a chance going the other way. This season I stopped 55.4 percent of the shots I faced for my high school team. I work every day on quickness, footwork, hand-eye and the mental side of the position, and I'm comfortable picking up a stick as a shooter or field player when my team needs it. I'm excited to compete at the next level, and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
